Everybody Hates Gambling is the 19th episode of Season 2 of Everybody Hates Chris. It is the 41st episode overall.
Plot[]
Doc discovers that Chris is a natural at picking the game winners, making Chris everyone's favorite odds-maker. Things change when Paulie the local bookie shows up to see Chris. Tonya tries to beat Drew at checkers. Near the end of the episode, Chris gets a bet wrong and tells Doc to pick Lakers over Phoenix. The Rock family are the seen watching the Lakers vs Phoenix game and Phoenix win, making Julius (and Rochelle) a happy man and woman. Vanessa then comes with only $50 to give to Julius because she didn’t make the bet due to Chrissy the Black (Chris) advising her to not to do the bet because he thought the Phoenix was going to lose, with Chris asking how was he supposed to know. Julius, Rochelle, Vanessa (and Drew for some reason) then stand around Chris with Rochelle lecturing him with her saying she hates gambling because you can’t win for losing, resulting in her sending him upstairs. “Everybody Hates Chris” plays over Chris looking embarrassed, ending the episode.
