Everybody Hates Elections is the third episode of Season 2 of Everybody Hates Chris. It is the 25th episode overall.
Plot[]
Chris has to prepare a speech as part of his campaign for class president; Mr. Omar the funeral director moves into the rental apartment but winds up increasing Julius's stress. Chris succeeded in becoming the 8th grade class president near the end of the episode, leaving everyone in the school to cheer his name. The next morning, Chris comes down to breakfast with his family being proud of him becoming school president leaving him very satisfied. However in his dream later, Chris is escorted in a car with Tasha and Greg along with people cheering him as he’s now become president. Caruso is then seen throwing something in his eye, leaving him unable to see in his left eye. The “Everybody Hates Chris” hook then plays panning to the audience who was cheering him.

- When Martin Luther King delivered his famous "I Have A Dream" speech at the March on Washington, he said that he wanted his four children to grow up in a country where they would be "judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
- Caruso said "Keep hope alive!"
- This is a reference to Jesse Jackson's address to the 1988 Democratic National Convention. Jesse Jackson repeats those same three words at the end of his speech.
