Everybody Hates Chain Snatching is the 16th episode of Season 2 of Everybody Hates Chris. It is the 38th episode overall.
Plot[]
When Chris stops Malvo trying to steal a gold chain from Vanessa, Malvo demands that Chris get him a gold chain. Tonya tries to win tickets to a Billy Ocean concert. Rochelle discovers that Julius has been hiding a credit card from her. Near the end of the episode Malvo catches Chris after not having his chain for him, then Julius comes in to save Chris threatening Malvo that he will go to jail if he ever touches Chris again and will be there all the time, even his dreams with the saying “You think i’m playin?” Malvo then gets scared and runs away, leaving Chris wondering how Julius knew that he was the one that snatched the chain instead of Greg. Julius then answered that white kids do not snatch chains. After a while snatching chains came out dated and was replaced by a new crime - carjacking. As soon as someone is about to try carjack Vanessa’s car Chris warns her to look out and drive away, with her doing so. The carjacker wasn’t happy with this and grabbed Chris and angrily told him that he owes him a car. The episode the ends with “Everybody Hates Chris” playing over Chris looking disappointed because even when he helped someone, it ended bad for him once again.
